My controller got jammed on the wrist strap!

So it was poorly lit and I was tired, I just put a strap thingy on the new joycons and well I did it the wrong direction and it sort of acted like it was going on, but then shot a bit past the edge and now I can't move it and it is stuck and I am very sad

Now, all you need to do it pull. It's stuck, so you're going to need to pull a little harder than it feels like you should. As long as that locking pin isn't in the way, the backplate will slide off without damaging either part of the controller.
